NBU anticipates the following items will be included in the Project scope of work: (i) reconstruction and rehabilitation of the existing lift station wet well; (ii) expanding capacity to 2.8 million gallons per day of total pumping capacity by installing three (3) vertical dry pit solids handling pumps; (iii) installation of necessary instrumentation, controls, and electrical upgrades; (iv) site improvements including general flood-proofing of the site, including hatch replacement and ventilation of existing lift station; (v) existing manhole rehabilitation; (vi) bypass pumping and flow management; (vii) installation of approximately 25 linear feet of cured-in-place pipe lining for the existing 24-inch main; (viii) storm water pollution prevention; (ix) site restoration including hydro-mulching and sod restoration; and (x) all other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project. Project Duration NBU has established a target commencement date for construction activities of the Project as July 15, 2023. The projected completion date is estimated to be Two Hundred and Ten (210) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. NBU reserves the right to phase the construction of the Project or modify the schedule as needed and determined by the NBU Board or staff due to modifications in scope. Bid Bond Required Each bid must be accompanied by an approved Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid cost, payable to NBU without recourse, as a guarantee bidder will enter into a contract at the stated price.
