Renovation of a transportation facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The scope of work for this project includes the replacement of ATS's on Concourse A, Concourse B, Concourse C, Red Parking Ramp, C/G Connector Bridge and Light Rail Platform including the associated generator system network upgrades related to the transfer switches being replaced. Additional work includes adding a redundant power source to the generator building, upgrading emergency power meters, and upgrading the remaining multi-mode fiber equipment in the generator fiber network to single mode fiber connections. Additional work includes traffic control, concrete equipment pads, and painting at floors and door hardware replacement. At Terminal 2, a UPS system will be upgraded and replaced. Mechanical scope includes the uninstallation and reinstallation of an exhaust fan and associated controls. Additional mechanical work includes the building of a filter rack, removal of an abandoned plumbing fixture, monitoring of an existing fire damper, and reworking the Fire Protection sprinkler coverage in affected areas Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a certified check made payable to the MAC in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid,
