The undersigned understands that the District reserves the sole right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in Bids received. Award will be made which, in the judgment of the District Board, is to the best interest of the District except as allowed in Public Contract Code Section 5103. The undersigned Bidder certifies that it is, at the time of bidding, and shall be, throughout the period of the Contract, licensed under the provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3, of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California, to do the type of work contemplated in the Contract Documents. Bidder shall further certify that it is skilled and regularly engaged in the general class and type of work called for in the Contract Documents. Delta Diablo has obtained from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and a general prevailing rate for holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and overtime work in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft, classification, or type of worker required to execute the contract. A copy of said prevailing rate of the per diem wage is on file at the principal office of the District, 2500 Pittsburg-Antioch Highway, Antioch, CA 94509. Said prevailing rate of per diem wages are available online at www.dir.ca.gov/DLSR/PWD, and a copy thereof shall be posted at the job site. Key tasks include repair and rehabilitation of thirty manholes, replacement of one manhole, open cut replacement of 30 vitrified clay pipe and reinforced concrete pipe, and CIPP rehabilitation of 624 LF of 30 pipe and 206 LF of 20 pipe, dewatering and shoring, and provision of a bypass pumping system. The Work consists of the following: o Repair and rehabilitation of 30 sanitary sewer manholes. o Replacement of 1 sanitary sewer manhole in Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) Right-of-Way (ROW) o Replacement of approximately 137 LF of existing 30-inch sanitary sewer vitrified clay pipe in UPRR ROW. o Replacement of approximately 69 LF of existing 30-inch sanitary sewer reinforced concrete pipe in UPRR ROW. o Cured-in-place pipe lining of approximately 642 LF of existing 30-inch sanitary sewer pipe in UPRR ROW. o Cured-in-place pipe lining of approximately 206 LF of existing 20-inch sanitary sewer pipe in UPRR ROW. o Sewage bypassing; o Dewatering and construction of temporary shoring and slope protection. o Stormwater pollution control and site protection measures. o Traffic and pedestrian control. o Site restoration, including paving and fencing replacement and other work. o Work shown on Drawing C-03 requires Contractor to coordinate with and obtain approvals from UPRR in order to work within the UPRR Right of Way. The Contractor must comply with all UPRR requirements including, but not limited to, District indemnification and insurance requirements, UPRR safety training and certifications, UPRR construction inspection and notification requirements, UPRR required submittals and approvals, and all other UPRR contractor requirements. The effort and associated costs related to working with UPRR Right of Way shall all be accounted for in the bid.
