Reference number : 1706130 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-04-11 Submission sent electronically accepted: Yes, in a single submission document Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 36 The Société des establishments de plein air du Québec (the “ Sépaq ”) is requesting bids from suppliers interested in supplying bulk cords of firewood for the chalets, shelters and lodges (the “ Firewood ”) at the Parc national des Monts Valin. The supply contract is for a period of three (3) years, beginning on May 1, 2023 and ending on April 30, 2026. Firewood orders will be made between April 1 and November 30 of each year. The Supplier shall begin deliveries within forty-eight hours (48 hours) following the order. Firewood should be split into quarters no more than 15 cm (about 6 in.) wide. The length of the quarters may vary between 39 and 42 cm (about 16 in). For the purposes hereof, a cord of Firewood is a stack of logs measuring 120 cm (approximately 4 ft) in height and 240 cm (approximately 8 ft) in length. Firewood must be hardwood hardwood only . No resinous species will be accepted. Poplars, limes and other softwoods will only be accepted in small quantities, never exceeding 15% of the volume of Firewood delivered for each delivery. Semi-dry Firewood shall contain less than 50% moisture.
