Site work and paving for a road / highway in Edgerton, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Edgerton is hereby soliciting proposals from interested contractors to provide UBAS/Ultra-Thin Asphalt and Asphalt Overlay (2"). The City of Edgerton requests that all construction activities be complete prior to September 30, 2023. The Department of Public Works is seeking submissions for bids for UBAS/Ultra-Thin Asphalt and Asphalt Overlay mediums. Consideration of qualified contractors, one for Ultrathin Bonded Asphalt Surface (UBAS)/Ultra-Thin Asphalt and Asphalt Overlay (2"), as outlined for 2023 Street Preservation Program. Depending upon qualifications a contractor able to provide all maintenance mediums will be considered. Contractors will be expected to perform general Street Maintenance Services comprised of Ultra-thin Bonded Asphalt Surface/Ultra-Thin Asphalt and Asphalt Overlay (2"). (See Attachment A: List of Quantities). For 2023 the Edgerton Street Preservation Program includes approximately 2,100 Square Yards of UBAS/Ultra-thin asphalt surface, 3,100 Square Yards of Asphalt Overlay (2"), 50 Square Yards of full depth asphalt patching, and 200 linear feet of concrete curb & gutter. All construction activities are in the residential portion of town. A draft map of the project areas is included. (See Attachment B).
