A firm timeline for start of construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The principal items for which proposals are invited are: 12,000 SY Pulverize Asphalt Pavement 50 LF Remove and Replace Culvert Pipe, 60-Inch RCP 100 LF Steel Beam Guard 2,500 CY Undercut and Base Course Material 2,800 TN Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement, 5-Inch 7,500 SY Topsoil, Seed and Mulch. Beginning Work Work on this project may not begin until all contract documents are fully executed; all erosion control and traffic control devices have been installed, inspected and approved by the Engineer; and the Notice to Proceed has been issued. Scope of Work The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment required for pulverizing and milling the existing asphalt pavement, proof roll, undercutting, base course, and asphalt pavement resurfacing asshown by the plans and contract documents, complete, ready for use and acceptable to the City of Waterloo and Town of Waterloo. The Contract Award for this project will be based upon the projects base bid and/or the project base bid plus alternate(s), whichever is in the best interest of the Owner(s). All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
