Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Drayton Valley, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The removal and replacement of two Bridge Sized culverts in Brazeau County. The locations are Bridge File 81139 near Drayton Valley and 81806 near Lindale. Bridge File 81139 Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 2 - 1200 mm CSP culverts with 44.5 m invert lengths and a 1000 mm CSP culvert with a 25.0 m invert length and the installation of a new 2700 mm CSP culvert with a 45.0 m invert length. The crossing is located on Range Road 100 over an unnamed Tributary to the Pembina River, 23 km southwest of Drayton Valley. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: Traffic Accommodation Demolition and Disposal of Bridge Structure Excavation CSP Supply CSP Assembly Backfill Roadway Work Supply and Placement of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Silt Fence) Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Straw Fibre Roll) Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C) Supply and Installation of Rock Lined Ditch Drains (Class 1M) Bridge File 81806 Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 2 - 1400 mm CSP culverts with a 19.1 m invert length and the installation of 2 new 1600 mm CSP culverts with a 22.0 m invert length. The crossing is located on Range Road 70 an unnamed tributary to Bucklake Creek, 23 km southeast of Drayton Valley. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: Traffic Accommodation Demolition and Disposal of Bridge Structure Excavation CSP Supply CSP Assembly Backfill Roadway Work Supply and Placement of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Straw Fibre Roll) Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C) Documents can be obtained fromhttps://brazeau.bidsandtenders.ca/ Award is subject to final approval.
