No definite date for the rebid Proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Passaic, Division of Purchasing, Attn: Doris Dudek, Director of Purchasing; 330 Passaic Street, Passaic, NJ; bearing the name and address of the bidder written on the face of the envelope, and clearly marked "BID" with the contract title. The City of Passaic is only responsible for forwarding addendums or clarifications to those prospective bidders who obtained specifications directly from the City of Passaic, Division of Purchasing or to those who have put the City of Passaic's Division of Purchasing on notice as having received the specification. Bidders must be registered with the Division of Revenue, State of New Jersey for a Business Registration Certificate prior to the time a contract is awarded or authorized. If awarded a contract, your company/firm shall be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The City of Passaic reserves the right to waive any informality in the bids received and the right to consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt. The design of the project will start on the date the consultant receives a written Notice to Proceed. Time to complete the project design is of the essence to secure mitigation funding from FEMA (maximum 16 weeks). The Howard Avenue Tennis Courts, located at the intersection of Howard Avenue and Ridge
Avenue within Veterans Memorial Park, was significantly damaged due to Hurricane Ida. The
City of Passaic (City) is planning to implement flood mitigation measures to protect the public
recreation facilities in this vicinity. This RFP is to ultimately conduct a stormwater drainage analysis and provide the City with a
flood mitigation and stormwater management design to prevent future damages to this facility.
The qualified consultant shall employ a team of drainage/hydraulics Professional Engineers
licensed in the State of New Jersey, with demonstrated experience in urban stormwater analysis,
design, and cost estimation. The Consultant shall consider all alternatives during the
investigation and shall ultimately provide the City with a recommendation of a cost-effective
solution that considers initial cost, maintenance and longevity
