A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: CR Number: 2096182 The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Renovate 1st Floor for Psychology Labs & Clinic - Farber Hall project at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. Farber Hall is approximately 211,500 gross square feet (GSF) constructed in 1953 and is four stories in height. Farber Hall is connected to Sherman Hall and houses research labs, support space and office space. Farber has not undergone comprehensive renovation since is construction. The purpose of this project is to renovate a portion of the first floor for Psychology Lab and Clinic space. The project is for the renovation of approximately 10,500 SF at the northwest corner of the first floor of Farber Hall. Renovated program spaces will include offices, clinic space, research labs and support spaces. Interior renovations will include removal and reconfiguration of partitions and demising walls, without significant reconfiguration of the main corridor. Existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems will be replaced. Existing rooftop units AHU-1 & RTU -1 will continue in use. Hazardous materials abatement includes asbestos. A short-form concept program study for this new building, including space use program and test fit drawings, was conducted recently by the Campus's Planning unit and will be made available to the selected Consultant.
