Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of an educational facility in Syracuse, New York. Design plans call for the renovation of a 141,000-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.

As of October 16, 2024, this is in design. A firm timeline for construction has not been established, but this project is unlikely to bid before Q1 2026. Two additional small enabling projects, separate buildings of 23,000 sqft each, may bid in July/August 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: CR Number: 2096180 The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Renovate Illick Hall project at the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Illick Hall is a six-story, approximately 141,000 GSF building constructed in 1969 and serves as the main campus scientific academic and research facility. The project will modernize the facility for use by campus students, faculty, and staff. The Project will provide a comprehensive renovation of the building including the replacement of interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection systems and abatement of hazardous materials. The project will include roof and window replacement. SOQs must be submitted in the format prescribed by the Fund using the link provided in the email received after registration that supplies the RFQ. Required electronic copies of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) must be received by the due date and time specified in the RFQ.
