Renovation of an educational facility in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 106,964-square-foot educational facility.
The work of this single bid project includes the complete interior fit out of approximately 107,000 sf of area at the Classroom Building spread over four floors, including the roof. The work includes, but is not limited to, concrete slab demolition and removals, asbestos abatement, cutting and patching, concrete, masonry, structural steel, steel stairs, steel platforms, miscellaneous metals, glass railings, misc. carpentry, millwork, thermal protection, sealants, doors and frames, aluminum storefronts/entrances, hardware, finishes, acoustic wall/ceiling panels, wall coverings, ACT ceilings, metal studs and GWB partitions, flooring, ceramic tile, toilet accessories, dimensional signage, fire protection, EPDM Roofing, roof pavers, site utilities, sitework, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and plumbing. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. EEO goals for this project: 10% minority workforce and 3% female workforce Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 18% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 12% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Estimated Range $35,000,000 - $40,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bidders who register as a planholder through the Printer may acquire the bidding and contract documents using the following options: 1. For a fee of ten dollars($10), interested firms may request and receive an electronic download of the bidding and contract documents. At the bidder's expense, purchase a printed copy or copies of the bid set. 2. For a fee of ten dollars ($10), interested firms may request and receive a CD with electronic copies of the bidding and contract documents. At the bidder's expense, purchase a printed copy or copies of the bid set. 3. For a fee of $49, interested firms may request and receive a printed copy of the complete set. An electronic download or copy on CD will not be provided.
