Renovation of an educational facility in Dover, New Hampshire. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of July 21,2023, project is cancelled. Project is no longer needed.** The District reserves the right to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the proposals submitted and the right to reject any or all proposals at its discretion and to accept the proposal which will be in the best interest of the District; or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the District to do so. The Vendor is responsible for the removal and disposal of the old walk-in refrigerator, including but not limited to, the walk-in box, floors, ceiling, lighting fixtures, walls and refrigeration systems, piping and associated wiring and any materials needed to gain access to and install new equipment properly All trash and scrap are to be removed from the site or put in dumpsters designated by the school facilities director. The school district will provide the dumpster at no cost to the selected vendor. The Vendor is responsible for specifying the size of the dumpster required. The installation of the walk-in refrigerator is to include, but not limited to, structural floor, setup of the unit in place, mounting of condensers outside on the roof, running all new refrigeration lines, drain lines, piping, wiring, hooking up electrical connections, and installing air curtain. It also includes trim of interior and exterior walls. The Vendor is responsible for starting the unit and making all necessary adjustments. The refrigeration contractor will provide one return trip to the job site ten (10) days after startup to check refrigerant, oil levels and adjust temperature defrost times. The unit is to be fully functioning. All electrical connections to existing power are included in the proposal. Vendor suggestions on how and or where to relocate the condenser The selected Vendor, at its sole cost and expense, shall maintain throughout the term of this, agreement, all permits, licenses and approvals necessary or required for the Vendor to perform the work and services described herein, if applicable. Please see Attachment A for additional information. The project shall be completed during early summer of 2023 at a time that is agreeable to the District and the vendor. The earliest start date as of the date of this RFP will be June 26, 2023. The project shall be completed by August 15, 2023. Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and, in order to be considered, must be received by Libby Simmons, Operations and Accounting Manager, at l.simmons@dover.k12.nh.us no later than seven (7) calendar days before the Request for Proposal due date and time. Any changes to the Request for Proposals will be provided to all Proposers of record. Bidders must schedule a site visit by calling Michael Brooks, Facilities Director, at 603-516-6890 or by email at michael.brooks@cwservices.com. Anyone wishing to bid must have visited and inspected the site within three (3) months prior to the bid opening. All dimensions, refrigeration sizes, and other conditions are the responsibility of the Vendor.
