The RSU anticipates awarding a contract to a bidder by May 26, 2023 The Longhouse project is for the establishment of an outdoor classroom consisting of a prepared 6 inch concrete slab and a 28 x 38 timber-framed structure with metal roof to be located on the Searsport District Middle High School property behind the gymnasium. The structure will have 120 volt electrical wired to the structure for the purposes of lighting and outlet service. The structure will have one side of the building dedicated to storage space for the electrical panel and internet connection as well as storage space for equipment specific to the Longhouse and the Longhouse program.
