Outdoor Classroom/Longhouse Project - Electrical RSU 20 is accepting bids for preparatory sitework for an outdoor classroom consisting of a 28 ;x38 ; concrete slab and timber frame classroom. 28 ;x38 ; CONCRETE SLAB RSU 20 is accepting bids for a concrete slab, 28 ;x38 ;x6" for an outdoor classroom. 28 ; X 38 ; TIMBER FRAMED LONG HOUSE RSU 20 is accepting bids to design and install a 28 ;x38 ; timber framed long house. ELECTRICAL RSU 20 is accepting bids to run underground power from an existing panel in a storage building to an outdoor classroom. *The Maine Department of Education ;s Rethinking Remote Education Ventures(RREV) project is 100% funded by the U.S. Department of Education ;s Education Stabilization Fund awarded through the Rethink K-12 Education Models (REM) grant. Maine was awarded $16,958,613. This federally funded (RREV*) project requires compliance with federal regulations. The structure will have 120 volt electrical wired to the structure for the purposes of lighting and outlet service. The structure will have one side of the building dedicated to storage space for the electrical panel and internet connection as well as storage space for equipment specific to the Longhouse and the Longhouse program. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
