Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Manheim, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of April 14, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The work under the Mechanical Contract includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required to demolish and legally dispose of the existing boiler, heating units and install new ground mounted and wall mounted split systems, duct work, appurtenances and all other work indicated or reasonably implied at the Fairland and Newport Road Schools. Work under the Electrical Contract includes but is not limited to all connections, installation of new lighting systems and switches, new ceiling grid and associated work. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/5/2023 12:00 PM Questions may be submitted electronically Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Davis Bacon Rates shall apply. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
