Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Urbandale, Iowa. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The PCC TRAIL REPLACEMENT shall include Approximately 1200 SY of trail removal and replacement Approximately 75 SY of sidewalk repair and replacement Approximately 30 LF curb and gutter section. Related items including removals, traffic control, erosion control, and survey. Enter into a contract, if this proposal is selected, in the form approved by the Jurisdiction, provide proof of registration with the Iowa Division of Labor in accordance with Chapter 91C of the Iowa Code, and furnish a performance, maintenance, and payment bond The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bond to be issued by a responsible surety and shall guarantee the faithful performance of thecontract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment for all materials and labor and protect and save harmless the City, from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operation of the Contractor. The City of Urbandale reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Commence the work on this project on or before a date to be specified in a written notice to proceed by the Jurisdiction, and to fully complete the project by September 22, 2023 ; and to pay liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions at the rate of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each day thereafter that the work remains incomplete. The Contractor hereby agrees to complete the work comprising the below referenced improvement as specified in the contract documents, which are officially on file with the Jurisdiction, in the office of the City Clerk. This contract includes all contract documents. The work under this contract shall be constructed in accordance with the SUDAS Standard Specifications, latest Edition, and as further modified by the supplemental specifications and special provisions included in said contract documents, and the Contract Attachment which is attached hereto. The Contractor further agrees to complete the work in strict accordance with said contract documents, and guarantee the work as required by law, for the time required in said contract documents, after its acceptance by the Jurisdiction. This contract is awarded and executed for completion of the work specified in the contract documents for the bid prices shown on the Contract Attachment: Bid Items, Quantities and Prices which were proposed by the Contractor in its proposal submitted in accordance with the Notice to Bidders for the following described improvements: A. If any person contemplating submitting a Bid for the proposed work, material, or equipment is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Plans, Specifications, or other Contract Documents, the Bidder may request an interpretation thereof. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. B.
