Site work and paving for a civil project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the installation of water mains on Carpathia Road, Chippawa Bay, Queenston Street, Rathgar Avenue and Wicklow Street all within the City of Winnipeg. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Installation of approximately 1092m of 150-200mm diameter PVC water main pipe by trenchless method; (b) Abandonment of existing water mains as required; (c) Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required; (d) Installation of valves and hydrant assemblies; (e) Reconnection or renewal of water service connections; and (f) Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas.
