Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Fairfax, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Liquidated damages shall be assessed at $350 per day for each calendar day beyond the contract time limit during which the contract remains in an incomplete state. Questions Deadline July 17, 2023 Direct questions to patricia.innocenti@fairfaxva.gov The purpose of this project is to construct a sidewalk along Chain Bridge Road (Route 123) in the City of Fairfax, which will connect to an adjacent trail and sidewalk, and will provide a continuous pedestrian path along the east side of Chain Bridge Road. This will necessitate the construction of approximately 530 linear feet of new concrete sidewalk as described herein. A retaining wall, approximately 130 feet in length, is also proposed with this project. A fully completed and properly executed original Bid Bond, cashier's check, certified check, money order or cash escrow in the amount of five percent (5%) ofthe amount ofthe bidmade payable to the Treasurer of the City shall accompany each bid. The awardee shall submit a fully completed and properly executed original Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Amount using the form provided by the City for this purpose.
