Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elon, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The proposed work consists of pavement, sidewalk (concrete and brick), curb and gutter, pavement markings, signs and landscape material removal; installation of concrete sidewalk and steps with handrails, brick pavers, including base course materials, curb ramps, pavement markings, water main and fire hydrant relocation, water service, bollards, storm drainage, segmental and concrete retaining walls, aluminum handrails with cable, utility adjustments, electrical control panel, electrical conduits and wiring for receptacles light and camera poles, and other miscellaneous items. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of North Carolina, duly licensed accordingly for the appropriate section of Bid. A 5% Bid security must accompany each Bid. Each Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bids and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and to reject the bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of Owner to make an award to that Bidder.
