The APDC is seeking to engage the services of a responsible and experienced Construction Owner's Representative/Project Manager with inspection services for this component of the project which involves the following two parts: 1. The Reconstruction of the Outdoor Maritime Terminal: Improvements to the pavement surface, drainage infrastructure, and railroad network including wood ties, rail, ballast, and earthwork are included in the scope of work. The work area is approximately 17 acres within a 30-acre maritime terminal which requires phasing to limit disruption to operational activity and additional improvement projects including the rehabilitation of Shed 1. 2. Smith Boulevard Reconstruction: The project includes reconstruction of the entire Smith Boulevard roadway within the Albany Port District extending from Raft Street to Boat Street, approximately 2,400 linear feet. Reconstruction includes full depth pavement and subbase replacement, drainage improvements, edge of pavement treatments including curbing, gutters and paved shoulders, rail crossing improvements at three crossings and driveway apron re-construction for businesses along the roadway corridor. Also included in the project is new pavement striping and additional roadway signage. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
