On this date and time, the Executive Director of the Housing Authority shall publicly open all bids. The bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid, but not more than $20,000.00 and may be certified or cashier's check payable to the order of the Millville Housing Authority or a bid bond for a like sum executed by a surety company authorized to be in business in the State of New Jersey. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Consent of Surety from an approved Surety Company must also be submitted with the Bid. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Building and Construction. Each bid must be accompanied by an affidavit so certifying, if applicable.
