Renovation of a municipal facility in Chesapeake, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The project is generally described as the replacement of existing rooftop equipment units on Buildings 28 & 29 of the SEVTC campus. The scope of the project requires the removal and replacement of existing rooftop equipment and patching of rooftop surfaces disturbed during the removal and replacement of existing equipment. The project also includes the reinforcing roof joists and replacement of ceilings as indicated. A Bid Bond is required. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The successful Bidder shall be required to provide Performance Bonds and Labor and Material Payment Bonds. Contractor registration in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia is required. See the Invitation for Bids for additional qualification requirements.
