As of March 11, 2024, a developer has not been selected as of yet. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. This 5.6-acre area (Blocks 8-9-10) is the first redevelopment area within the whole 24-acre Hopewell Neighborhood and should include a variety of housing types at price points available to individuals and families. Submitters can choose to submit on Block 8, 9, 10, or any combination of the three but must submit a proposal for at least one entire block. Development of the Project Site must include high-quality design, materials, and construction. The architecture must be compatible with the character of the larger community. The project should use environmental-friendly and sustainable principles in design and construction and should have a sustainability goal of no less than LEED Silver is expected. The development must comply with the architecture, materials, and construction standards defined in the UDO as currently zoned.
