Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Carrboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Asphalt Pavement Repairs Project(STRONG)consists of milling and paving as well as micro-surfacing of streets and bike paths, pavement markings, and a small amount of concrete work as described in the Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project involves street resurfacing and associated functions throughout the Town. The project includes traffic control, pavement milling, bituminous surface treatment, microsurfacing structure adjustment, full depth patching, concrete work, and pavement markings. Please submit questions or inquiries at least seven (7) calendar days before the Bid Due Date. Questions or inquiries past this deadline may not be addressed by the Town prior to the Bid Due Date. The Town of Carrboro reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders shall submit bids on a not to exceed basis and the contract shall be awarded on this basis. Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work. A 5% bid security is required with each bid.
