Renovation of a residential development in Peekskill, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Westchester County Planning Department invites EPA Certified Lead Contractors to submit bids for residential improvements. The Department of Planning will award a contract for these services to the lowest responsible bidder; funded by the Lead Safe Westchester Program. Contractors must EPA Certified and have a current Home Improvement License issued by the Westchester County Department of Consumer Protection. Only written Requests for Information (RFIs) will be accepted. From THURSDAY, APRIL 13, 2023, 4:00 pm.Until WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19, 2023, 4:00 pm. Email response will be posted by THURSDAY, APRIL 20, 2023, 1:00 pm. ICENSES AND INSURANCE: Contractor shall be licensed and insured to perform work in the County of Westchester. EPA CERTIFICATION: Prior to the start of work the Contractor is to present proof of EPA Certifications for both the Supervisory and Construction team scheduled for the project. PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHOTOGRAPHS: Prior to the start of work the Contractor shall provide pre-condition photographs to the County in ELECTRONIC FORMAT. The photographs shall be of all interior and exterior SITE SAFETY PLAN: Prior to the start of work the Contractor is to submit an outline describing the Site Safety Plan Outline to ensure compliance with the latest edition of the HUD Guidelines for the Evaluation of Lead-Based Paint Hazards in Housing. (Ref: Chapter 8 - Resident Protection and Worksite Preparation) VISUAL INSPECTIONS: All surfaces that have been scraped, stripped or replaced are to be inspected by The Department of Planning in a raw and smooth condition prior to the application of prime and/or paint to demonstrate that the affected substrates have been properly prepared. All work is to adhere to the EPA & HUD Guidelines. HOUSE KEEPING: The Contractor shall leave the site in a broom swept condition at the end of each work day. Clear finishes shall be water based urethane . Gloss as selected by owner The Contractor shall repair any damage to new and existing work caused by his installation. Follow NFPA Guidelines and local codes for location of smoke and CO Detectors.
