Site work and paving for a road / highway in Watford City, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

As of May 24, 2023, project was awarded to Knife River , awarded amount is $2,768,626.75. Each bid will be submitted on the basis of a cash payment for work. The bid shall be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond and North Dakota Contractors licenses in a separate envelope. The Bid Bond shall be in the amount of five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid. Questions during bidding should be directed to the McKenzie County Engineers Office, Grace Demars at (701) 444-2600. McKenzie County reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted and to hold all bid. All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids, as required by Section 43-07-05 and Section 43-07-12 of the North Dakota Century Code and a copy of the license or certificate of renewal there of issued shall be enclosed in the required bid bond envelope. Including, but not limited to the following: Pavement Removals, Common Excavation - Subcut, Subgrade Preparation, Aggregate Base Course, Pavement Milling, Superpave Faa 45, Traffic Control, Rumble Strips, Temporary and Permanent Pavement Marking, and other items, plus incidentals, as fully described in the bid documents and construction drawings
