Requests may be made by phone (573)204-2494; or e-mail: klnitsch@capecounty.us Kara Clark Summers Cape Girardeau County Clerk Specifications outline the requirements for plant mix bituminous paving (HMAC) for Cape Girardeau County on various county roads. The paving shall include both the paving of new sections and the overlay of sections of existing pavement. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages, as found by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of Missouri, shall be paid to all workers performing work under this Contract. Cape Girardeau County notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority firms, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Bidder will insure that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this contract or any subcontracts.
