Jefferson Parish may reject any and all bids for just cause in accordance with just cause for the purpose of the construction of public works, is defined, but is not limited to the following circumstances. In accordance with resolution as amended bidder agrees to pay as liquidated damages the sum of each consecutive calendar day after the agreed date of substantial completion that the work remains substantially incomplete and each consecutive calendar day after the 30th day following the actual date of substantial completion that the work has not been finally completed. Bidders shall provide bid security in the form of an electronic bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price.
