Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saltcoats, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Town of Saltcoats invites interested parties to submit Tenders for their 2023 Paving Project. The years project will be identified as "400 Block of Allan Ave" from Tupper Street to York Street (Approximately 800' x 21') This project will include base replacement (approximately 400' x 21' x 3') Tender shall include: 1. Survey existing road and ditch drainage 2. Prepare elevation/grading Plan 3. Identify and remove, then replace failed sub-base c/w appropriate road fabric 4. Scarify, regrade and compact to suitable elevations 5. Supply and install 3" hot mix asphalt 6. Do adjustment if needed to 2 manholes 7. Do adjustments if needed to 2 main valves 8. To promote positive runoff, finished elevation of roadway to be 2-3" higher than adjoining surfaces (ditches) 9. Do connections to approximately 13 existing driveways matching existing surfaces Work shall be completed no later than October 15, 2023 with products being of high standard and accepted by your industry. The Town of Saltcoats advise all interested to visit the proposed work site for a visual inspection and thank all parties involved for their participation.
