Site work for a municipal facility in Wilmington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

**As of May 18, 2023, project was awarded to Heath and Sons Management Services but awarded amount is not available.** The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is requesting bids for Concrete Removal and Replacement Services. From time to time the Authority is required to replace concrete due to water and sewer repair. The Authority is seeking bids from Contractors that have experience replacing concrete per City of Wilmington and DOT standards. The replacement will be done on an on-call basis and a quick turnaround time is needed for the replacement. The concrete replacement will be in areas identified by CFPUA Operation's staff. The areas needing replacement will include but not be limited to driveways, sidewalks, curbing and handicap ramps within New Hanover County. Most of the replacement will be in public right of way and easements. If private property is involved Authority Staff will coordinate with property owner. The areas will be identified by square footage. Contractor will also be required to insert flowable fill into underground abandoned pipes. Bids received in after this time will not be accepted. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure bids are received on time. If emailing or faxing please call to confirm receipt. If a bidder fails to complete and submit all requirements stated in this Advertisement for Bids and those further requirements stated in the bid document, the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority may deem such failure nonresponsive and therefore a forfeiture of the bid. The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority reserves the right to reject any all proposals. No bid may be withdrawn after bids have been opened, except as provided in the North Carolina General Statutes. All inquiries concerning this bid shall be directed to Benjamin Guerrieri of the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority at e-mail Bids@cfpua.org and phone 910-332-6651. No questions will be answered after April 13, 2023 at 5:00pm. If you intend to bid on this project you must register with Bids@cfpua.org in order to receive addendums.
