Questions due from bidders: April 4, 2023 (10 AM) NGINEER 1.1. Any questions concerning the Contract Documents shall be submitted in writing to: Tevi Lawson Omaha Public Power District 444 S. 16th St. Mall 5E/EP1 Omaha, NE 68102-2247 Email: tlawson@oppd.com HEDULE REQUIREMENTS 2.1. OPPD requiresthat schedule requirements be adhered to so proper coordination, evaluation of progress, and control is identifiable to ensure successful completion of the Work within the guaranteed date(s). 2.2. The Contractor shall establish his schedule based on the Contractor Guaranteed Completion Date(s) 2.3. The schedule shall show task durations and dependencies including off-jobsite activities such as design, fabrication of equipment, procurement, delivery of materials, and items to be furnished by OPPD. 2.4. The schedule shall include a detailed breakdown of all construction activities and interfaces to the level necessary for the Contractor to plan and monitor his construction Work. Activities shall include logic driven start and finish dates, activity original and remaining durations, significant milestones, resource loading, schedule predecessors and successor activities (with no open ends except project start and completion), total float, activities/interfaces outside the control of the Contractor that need to be linked to OPPD's overall plant schedule; manpower by craft; and material commodity quantities. 2.5. The Contractor's schedule will be integrated into OPPD's overall plant schedule, and once integrated, will be maintained by OPPD's scheduling personnel, using input from theContractor. 2.6. The Contractor shall submit to the Engineer at the end of each month, an updated construction schedule for approval, until the start of material construction activities (mobilization to the site). This updated schedule shall clearly note progress, explain lack of progress and note all changes from the originally approved schedule. 2.7. One week prior to the start of the outage, the Contractor's schedule shall be updated daily with project status as of 6:00 A.M. that day, and that information provided to OPPD's scheduling personnel by 9:00 A.M. that same day for input into the overall plant schedule. 2.8. OPPD retains the right, at no additional cost to OPPD, to require reasonable modification of the Contractor's schedule as may be necessary to better coordinate the planned progress of the overall project. Any overtime or multiple shift operations required to meet the schedule and guaranteed completion dates shall be provided at no additional cost to OPPD. 2.9. The Contractor shall at all times during the performance of this Contract, conduct the Work with such planning, scheduling of forces, equipment, and supervision to complete the Contract by the guaranteed completion date. 2.10. All changes from the originally approved schedule affecting the guaranteed completion date(s) will not be recognized unless approved by the Engineer in writing.
