Question Deadline: Thu Apr 13, 2023 12:00 PM (EDT) Toronto District School Board (the "Board" or "TDSB") is a public English school board operating in the City of Toronto, in the Province of Ontario. It is the largest school board in Canada and the fourth largest in North America. TDSB operates approximately 584 schools and provides educational services to approximately 246,000 students each year and employs approximately 40,000 employees. The workforce is largely unionized, with the majority of employees belonging to numerous bargaining units. The Toronto Lands Corporation (TLC) is soliciting submissions for Custodial and Operational Services (4) four sites. Term: Successful Bidders will be required to enter into a contract with firm pricing which will be effective for a One(1) year period from the date the contract is signed. The TLC reserves the right, at the sole discretion of the TLC, to exercise an option to extend for three (1) additional one (1) year periods. The successful Bid(s) will require approval by the TLC Board prior to contract award. The terms and conditions of the extension option(s) would remain the same as the initial contract, and at the sole discretion of TLC, there may be an opportunity to review the fee for an option period. Qualifications: In order to be considered, a proponent must at a minimum, satisfy the following conditions: In business for 5 years or more. Has provided related custodial, caretaking or property management services to other institutional or public sector property owners. Have 4th Class Operating Engineer Certificate, or BES I & II go be held by person performing the Life Safety Checks. TLC will not conduct business with any supplier or services provider currently engaged in litigation against the TLC or the Toronto District School Board. "Board" means the Toronto District School Board. "TLC Board" means the Toronto Lands Corporation Board INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDER Criteria Evaluation Details: Each submission will be evaluated as follows: Experience of Firm - 50 points Company Profile 15 Points Best Practices and quality control procedures 25 Points Relevant Management Experience 10 Points Fee Proposal 50 points Monthly Cleaning Fees 25 Points Monthly Fee (Daily Safety Checks) 25 Points Scoring evaluation matrix: Excellent: 15 - 20 Exceeds the required standard. Response answers the question with precision and relevance and includes improvement thru innovation/added value Good: 10-14 Meets the standard required. Comprehensive response in terms of detail and relevance to the question Limited: 5 - 9 Fails the standard in most aspects but meets some areas in level of detail.
