Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of June 5, 2023, project was awarded to Youngblood Paving Inc. for a cost of $569,789.65. The Project includes the following Work: The Project base bid consists of asphalt pavement milling/filling, roadway reconstruction, base repair, joint sealing, wedge curb replacement, and pavement markings for the streets of Sewickley Ridge Drive, Sewickley Ridge Circle and Sewickley Ridge Court. Alternate 1 includes tar and chip treatment and pavement markings improvements is included for Weber Road, Ferndale Avenue, Weber Road Extension, Sycamore Road Extension, McCoy Place Road, and South McCoy Place Road. Alternate 2 includes parking lot, sidewalk, and stormwater improvements to the Aleppo Municipal Building Property. Alternate 3 includes a mill and pave to Rockledge Drive. All work includes restoring all disturbed areas to original conditions The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. 220 West Kensinger Drive, Suite 100 Cranberry Township, PA 16066 Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this project, and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources that affect the project, pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved October 26, 1972. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost for this project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142). The Township of Alepporeserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Township of Aleppo, and to reject any or all proposals.
