The VAN BUREN INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT is soliciting competitive bids for excavation work, installation of concrete piers, and gravel driveway installation for the Fire Science Training House located at 650 Blackman Street, Lawrence, MI 49064. Envelopes shall be sealed and marked Excavation/Concrete Pier Installation/Gravel Driveway - Fire Science Training House. Bid quotes are guaranteed for 90 calendar days. The Van Buren Intermediate School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities which it deems to be in the best interest of Van Buren Intermediate School District. PERFORMANCE and PAYMENT BONDS Within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the Notice of Award and before issuance of Contract, the successful Bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds as required by MCL 129.201, et seq. in such form as the District may require, securing the faithful performance of such contracts and payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Such bonds must be for the full amount of the contract with a surety company in good standing and licensed in the State of Michigan. The bond must be at no cost to the District.
