The improvements to the Transportation Center are in preparation on future operations of the Altamont Corridor Express to Modesto. The improvements focused on the interior/exterior part of the station and the Transportation Center grounds. Another part of the safety improvements are giving the facility a face-lift, including paint, facility repairs, and better landscaping, which will also help promote a safer environment at the Transportation Center.
