The Project consists of HVAC Preventative Maintenance and Repairs at various Village of Fairport buildings and is a term contract. Requests for Proposals will be received for a single prime Contract. Requests for Proposals shall be on a unit price basis and Work Orders will be established during the term of the Contract. The Requests for Proposal Documents may be viewed and ordered through the Village of Fairport Department of Public Works during normal business hours. Proposals will only be accepted from Plan Holders of record. No pre-bid conference will be held. Questions shall be provided in writing to Paul Feeley, Superintendent of Public Works. by email only at pf@fairportny.com no later than 48 hours prior to the bid opening. BIDDERS ON THIS WORK WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE PRESIDENT'S EXECUTIVE ORDER NO.s 11,246 AND 11,375 WHICH PROHIBIT DISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT REGARDING RACE, CREED, COLOR, SEX, OR NATIONAL ORIGIN. The successful bidder must be an equal opportunity employer, must meet all appropriate State and Federal standards, and comply with all relevant governmental regulations. The Owner is exempt under Section 1116 of the Tax Law, and, therefore, no sales tax shall be included in the proposal. The Village of Fairport reserves the right to: Reject any or all bids and discontinue this bid process without obligation or liability to any potential bidder. Award to other than the lowest priced proposal. Award on the basis of initial offers received, without discussions or requests for best and final offers. The award will be formalized with a contract for services between the bidder and the Village of Fairport, using the Village's standard contract form. The contract will further detail the scope of services, responsibilities, and compensation. No proposals shall be accepted from, or any contract awarded to any person or corporation who is in arrears to the Owner upon any debt of contract, or is a defaulter as surety or otherwise upon any obligation to the Village of Fairport. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids.
