Site work and paving for a civil project in Plover, Wisconsin. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.
As of April 8, 2024, the project is in preliminary design. The project will be let through WisDOT bid let. Construction is anticipated to begin 2028/ 2029. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: 6270-00-07: Perpetuation project to resurface approximately 1.911 centerline miles of STH 49 between Northland and STH 29, from Cedar Road to Lake View Road in the town of Alban in Portage County. Improvements include a 4-inch mill and overlay and adding a 3-foot paved shoulder along STH 49. Four cross culvert pipes will be replaced. Anticipated Construction Cost: $17,000,000-$19,999,999 Advertised Fixed Fee % : 7.25 Fixed Fee Notification : The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. Wis DOT - RFP Engineering - Perpetuation - Resurfacing *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
