The District has several programs that support the District's mission to ensure the sustainable use and protection of water resources for the benefits of the people of the District and the state of Florida. The following is a list of programs that are anticipated to be supported by this request: 1. Minimum Flows and Levels Determination 2. Minimum Flows and Levels Prevention and Recovery 3. Central Florida Water Initiative 4. North Florida Regional Water Supply Planning 5. Central Springs and East Coast Water Supply 6. Alternative Water Supply Development Projects To support these programs/projects and other core mission elements, the District desires to enter into agreements with environmental and professional engineering firms licensed to do business in the state of Florida, which have expertise in one or more of the following four Disciplines: Hydrologic Modeling and Analysis; Environmental Assessment; Independent Scientific/Technical Peer Review and Expert Services for Environmental Assessment; and Independent Scientific/Technical Peer Review and Expert Services for Groundwater, Hydrologic, Hydraulic and Hydrodynamic Modeling and other related services as noted in the Introduction/Background section of the Statement of Work. All contracts issued pursuant to this solicitation will expire June 30, 2028. The estimated combined budget for all work over the five years of the contract(s) is $3,500,000. The above amount is derived from totaling the following fiscal-year projected budget amounts: FY2022-2023: $300,000; FY2023-2024: $700,000; FY2024-2025: $700,000; FY2025-2026: $700,000; FY2026-2027: $700,000; and FY2027-2028: $400,000). The total (cumulative) budget will be spread across all contracts issued to the selected respondents. All work will be accomplished through the issuance of Work Orders. Respondents should not have any expectation or promise as to the volume of work that may be accomplished pursuant to this solicitation.
