Renovation of an educational facility in Pearl City, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Requisition Nbr: R2023000025 Document Nbr: D2023000030 The project shall in general consist of, but is not limited to, furnishing and installing the APC InRow, APC Condenser, and Flooded Receiver; the demolition and proper disposal of existing APC InRow, APC Condenser, and Flooded Receiver; and all associated electrical, mechanical, structural, and incidental work. Questions Deadline: 03/31/2023 4:00 p.m. (HST) Requests for substitutions regarding the IFB and its requirements, must be submitted to the Technical Representative of the Procurement Officer (TRPO), Jonathan Weintraub via E-mail at jw77@hawaii.edu The work to be done shall include performing all operations and furnishing all equipment, fixtures, appliances, tools, materials, and labor necessary to execute, complete, and deliver all of the work and related items required for the project and as hereinafter specified. B. The project site is 7878 BS, Room 108 at Leeward Community College, 96-045 Ala Ike, Pearl City, HI 96782-3393. C. Contractor shall visit the job site and make certain that he/she understands the extent of the work and existing job conditions before submitting a formal bid. D. The Project shall in general consist of the following: 1) Furnish labor, materials, and equipment to install the following: A) One (1) APC InRow RD Direct Expansion, 600mm, Air Cooled, 208V, 60Hz, Nominal 30kW, 8.5ton, water detection cable. New InRow unit to match existing unit dimensions of 23.6''W x 78.4''H x 42.1''. B) One (1) Outdoor condenser and flooded receiver; Contractor to Electrofin Ecoat the entire coil, and spray overcoat with VR-500 phenolic coating. 2) Furnish labor and equipment to make safe, demo, haul, and properly dispose off-campus the existing APC InRow, APC Condenser, refrigerant piping, and electrical conduit. 3) Receive, deliver, rig, and secure the condenser into place. 4) Furnish labor and materials to install new refrigerant piping per APC requirement. Suction line to be insulated only. 5) Furnish labor and materials to install new PVC condensate drain piping. New condensate drain to tie-in to existing drain line approximately 10 linear ft. within room. New piping to be insulated. 6) Furnish labor and materials to disconnect and reconnect power/controls and field wire flooded receiver. Provide one (1) outdoor electrical service disconnect. Existing circuit breakers and feeder to remain as is and reuse. 7) Furnish labor for removal and reinstallation of existing acoustical ceiling tiles where needed for access. 8) Furnish labor and materials to protect existing equipment, walls, floors, etc. 9) Furnish labor, materials and equipment to construct relocated Condenser's concrete pad and retaining walls. Contractor to provide structural design of retaining walls and footings. Excavate existing embankment and dispose of soil. Compact base, install and compact slab cushion materials. Paint the walls of the new enclosure, color selection by Leeward Community College.
