UPDATE : Replace aging underground conductors and transformers on the south side of East Monroe Avenue between South Main Street and Grand Avenue and along South Wilson Avenue. The project includes excavating and installing underground cables and replacing existing equipment such as junction boxes, transformers and switchgears along the proposed route. Underground cables will be installed using a directional boring method whenever possible to minimize disruption.
