This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation ("SaskPower") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of E.B. Campbell Hydro Station Removal of Existing GSU 905T and Installation of New GSU 905T, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the " Work"). SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan. This Contract is for the replacement of the existing unit 1 & 2 generator step up transformer (GSUT) 905T and associated works as described in Technical Specifications. This opportunity is restricted to suppliers who qualify as a New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA) Region Supplier. Both a Microsoft Word and an Adobe PDF version of the RFP, Appendix A - RFP Particulars and Appendix C - Agreement are provided on Merx. If there is any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Word version and the PDF version of this RFP, Appendix A - RFP Particulars or Appendix C - Agreement, the PDF version shall prevail. If a proponent is unable to attend the mandatory site meeting, they must provide notification to the RFP contact at least 2 business days prior to the site meeting so an alternate site meeting can be set up or the original site meeting can be moved. PPE is required including CSA approved hi-vis clothing, safety glasses, hard hat, and safety footwear. Confirmed attendees will be advised of any additional requirements they must comply with to access the site. The E.B. Campbell Hydo Station is located approximately 80 kilometers northeast of the corporate limits of Nipawin, Saskatchewan. The station is located at the northeast end of Tobin Lake Reservoir.
