Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Port Lavaca, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Project consists of a new Combined Dispatch Building for Calhoun County of approximately 5,694 square feet located at 312 West Live Oak Street, Port Lavaca, TX 77979. The new freestanding facility will include a lobby, dispatch control room, private offices, IT areas, meeting/training room, conference room, break room, and restrooms, as well as other building support areas and civil facility work. This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund and Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, Assistance Listing 21.027 awarded to Calhoun County by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The deadline to ask questions is 4/20/2023 2:00 PM CST All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to the ENGINEER IN WRITING and must be received in the office of the ENGINEER no later than 2:00 pm, April 20, 2023. Such questions may be submitted on www.CivcastUSA.com Q&A or email (smason@gwengineers.com). Bidders must submit with their bid a bid bond, issued by an acceptable surety, or a certified check, payable to Calhoun County, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid submitted. Calhoun County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
