The Darke County Educational Service Center is seeking sealed bids to repair and resurface the existing parking lots of Anthony Wayne Early Childhood Center. All bids shall be based on approximately 7,100 square yards of surface asphalt. Transition mill of 2.0 0, Mill 2.0 of existing asphalt of approximately 1,450 square yards. Milling will need to be hauled off site. Apply #407 tack at .06 gall/sq. yard. Place 2.0 of compacted ODOT 441 type 1 surface asphalt. Please provide bidding for a chip and seal underlayment for approximately 7,100 square yards, using MC3000 and #8 stone, with a 1.5 transition milling and 1.5 of compacted Type 1 surface asphalt - ODOT 441. The price should be included in the total bid cost. 50 tons of ODOT type 1 surface asphalt is included for leveling. Any additional repairs to the parking lots that need to be made to complete the project, must be submitted at the time of the bid opening. Seal all joints and re-stripe per existing lot striping using high traffic striping paint. Remove and reset all parking blocks. The responsibility for timely and appropriate bid submission rests solely with each bidder. No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award the contract for the Work to the bidder who is determined to be responsible and who submits the lowest responsive bid in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 9.312, taking into consideration accepted alternates, if any.
