NEEDS: The site includes several heritage buildings and is located near potentially sensitive residents such as the Neurological Institute. Since demolition and construction activities can induce vibrations affecting the buildings bordering the project, the university seeks to know the current state of these buildings before the start of the work. Objective of this mandate: - Know and document the current state (before the start of construction activities), exterior and interior, of the buildings and structures bordering the project. The mandate consists of carrying out a special pre-inspection study of the buildings bordering the construction site, in order to know their condition before the work that may cause vibrations (structural demolitions and excavation) begins. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
