As of November 5, 2025, this project is estimated to go out to bid at the end of 2025 or early 2026, with an estimated start of March 2026. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Bushnell, Florida, is seeking Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) from skilled firms, contractors or vendors to provide Professional services for funding and grant administration, preliminary design, final design, permitting, bidding services, construction administration and post-construction operational start up and training services. The projects generally consist of the following for the Clean Water facility plan: 1. Replacement and improvements to the City of Bushnell David Hanson WWTP including equalization tank, headworks, biological system, disinfection, digesters, reject storage pond modifications, disposal site expansion, mechanical dewatering, SCADA and a new operations building. 2. Replacement of the master lift station #1 including forcemain, wet well, pumps, emergency generator and building. The projects generally consist of the following for the Drinking Water facility plan: 1. Mechanical upgrades to WTP #1 and WTP #2, including, but not limited to, replacement of duty and high service pumps, replacement of chemical storage and feed systems, SCADA, building upgrades, standby emergency generator replacements, and storage tank improvements. 2. A distribution system extension and pressure boosting station that will interconnect the City of Bushnell and the Sumterville Public Water Supplies. 3. Distribution system improvements and replacement to eliminate dead ends, improve pressure and reduce water loss. 4.
