Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Camden, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work for this project includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major work items 1. The pulverization and stabilization of the existing bituminous asphalt surface to a depth of 6, as indicated on the plans. 2. Overlay of the stabilized surface with Hot Mix Asphalt 12.5M64 Surface Course, 2 thick. 3. Removal and replacement of 9x18 Concrete Vertical Curb, where indicated. 4. Installation of ADA compliant curb ramps, as indicated. 5. Removal and replacement of Concrete Driveway, 6 Thick, Reinforced, where indicated. 6. Removal and replacement of Concrete Sidewalk, 5 Thick, where indicated. 7. Installation of pavement markings, as indicated on plans. 8. Installation of Chain-Link Fence, PVC-Coated Steel, 8 High, Black, where indicated. 9. Installation of a Sliding Cantilever Gate, Complete and Installed, where indicated. 10. Installation of all electrical work needed for site lighting and connection of the sliding cantilever gate. 11. Installation of Site Lighting, where indicated. 12. Improvements to the City Parking Lot Each bid must be accompanied by Certified Check, Cashier's Check of Bid Bond to the order of the City of Camden, in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the sum of the bid but not in excess of $20,000.00 together with a non-collusion affidavit. Bid Bonds may be submitted electronically via a digital bond within the Bids&Tenders solicitation or uploaded in the document section of the solicitation. Paper bid bonds, certified checks or cashier's checks payable to the City of Camden may be mailed or dropped off in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and contract description on the outside to: Purchasing Agent C/O City Clerk, City of Camden City Hall, Room 105, Sixth and Market Streets, Camden, New Jersey. Regardless of the method of submission, bid bond must be received by Purchasing prior to the bid opening. The Bidder to whom the City of Camden proposes to award the Contract will be required to furnish Performance, Maintenance, and Payment Bonds and the necessary insurance certificates as prescribed in the specifications upon the execution of the Contract. Bidders must submit complete and detailed specifications of the product or service, which Bidder proposes to supply. The right to reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and to award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in accordance with applicable law is expressly reserved by the authority of the City Council of the City of Camden. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such licenses as required by State Statutes, and federal and local Laws and Regulations. The Bidder must produce current "Certificates of Registration" from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development for itself and each of its subcontractors. The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed and the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contracts as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.) and/or with the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141-3144, and 3146-3148) as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5, "Labor Standards Provisions Applicable to Contracts Covering Federally Financed and Assisted Construction"). Bidders are also required to comply with the requirements of Affirmative Action Regulation of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. (P.L.1975, c.127) and Affirmative Action Compliance NJAC 17:27-1 et seq.
