Description

Site work for a civil project in Kitchener, Ontario. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

Installation of 3.6km of 975mm diameter gravity sewer using a combination of microtunneling techniques and open cut excavation from the pipeline origin point (north of Freeport Creek) to the proposed Grand River crossing; a service bridge of approximately 500m crossing the Grand River and connecting to the Kitchener Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP); a new connection into the Kitchener WWTP's elevated influent channel TIMELINE: Project design is underway. Tender and construction timelines to be finalized once funding is in place. Further update may be available fall 2026.
