The work of this single bid project includes replacing approximately 15,845 SF of the existing roof system of the Chemistry Wing of the Science II building with a new energy efficient roofing system. The scope will also remove and reinstall existing rooftop exhaust fans and condensing units, as well as provide additional rooftop exhaust fans along with associated curbs, piping, ductwork, and electrical connections. The work will also include hazardous material abatement. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
