The bridge repair work to be performed includes slab repair full depth, bridge deck latex overlay, partial depth approach pavement patching, HMA overlay for bridge approaches, and clean and reseal pavement relief joints. The overlay work to be performed under this contract includes hot-mix asphalt surface removal, pavement patching, resurfacing with hot-mix asphalt surface course, drainage structures adjustment and cleaning, placement of pavement markings, installation of raised reflective pavement markers, ADA ramps, pedestrian signals, detector loops, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and described therein. The existing pavement is hot-mix asphalt. IL Route 7/53 will remain open for the duration of the project.
