Description: State Project 026594.20, WIN 26594.20. Location: In Kennebec County: Project 026594.20 in Augusta Location 1 is on Kennison Street and Ballard Street interfacing with Eastern Avenue. Location 2 is on Cushing Street and Mayfair Street interfacing with Eastern Avenue. Location 3 is on Penley Street and Porter Street Interfacing with Eastern Avenue. Location 4 is on Lambard Road interfacing with Eastern Avenue. Project 026594.20 in Benton Location 5 is on Pleasant Drive and Siding Street interfacing with Route 139 (Bridge Street). Project 026594.20 in Waterville Location 6 is at the Waterville Middle School crosswalk crossing Route 104 (West River Road). Location 7 is on Louise Avenue, Paul Street, and Temple Academy crosswalk at the interface with Route 104 (West River Road). Location 8 is on John Avenue at the interface of Route 104 (West River Road). Location 9 is on Franklin Street at the interface of Route 104 (West River Road). Location 10 is on Roland Street at the interface of Route 104 (West River Road). Location 11 is on Silver Street and Western Avenue. Location 12 is on Elm Street at Gosline Insurance. Bidders shall not contact any other Departmental staff for clarification of Contract provisions, and the Department will not be responsible for any interpretations so obtained. TTY users call Maine Relay 711 Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable Federal Laws. This contract is subject to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation. The right is hereby reserved to the MaineDOT to reject any or all bids. MEDOT - ADA Curb Ramp Improvements/Located in Various Locations We now accept electronic bids for bid packages posted on the website. Electronic bids do not have to be accompanied by paper bids. Please note: The Department will accent a facsimile of the bid bond; however, the original bid bond must then be received at the MDOT Contract Section within 72 hours of the bid opening. Until further notice, dual bids (one paper, one electronic) will be accepted, with the paper copy taking precedence.
